Greens Restaurant

I went to Greens for Brunch and Dinner. It just so happens that we ended up going there two days in a row. I went there this past Sunday and for some reason it was super crowded. Although we made a reservation we waited over a half an hour to get seated. The brunch menu is a better bargain than Dinner. I had a yummy eggplant sandwich and my boyfriend had a pasta that was like the gourmet version of buttered noodles. It was excellent. For dessert we had a pear pastry with ice cream. The dessert did not come with ice cream but the waitress kindly obliged for a small $1.50 fee. The wait staff was great even though the place was packed.

For dinner I wasn't so impressed as much by the food, although it was very good. I would definitively recommend going during sunset. The view over the water and the Golden Gate bridge as the the sun goes down is surreal. I had some kind of filo pastry with spinich, a side of bean. My boyfriend's ravioli was excellent however. The place was not packed for dinner as the day before for brunch. Although it was a Monday night and the place was still a nice crowd.

I like the idea of a changing menu because you can go back and have different items.
