Samovar Tea Lounge

A must visit if you want to wind down after work and relax in a great atmosphere. We went there around 6pm on Thursday evening and there were only 3 other tables filled.

Service was very friendly.

Tea was nicely presented and food was great. Food is nothing out of the world but then if it were it would take away from the Tea service.

Don't go here if you are famished and want to chow down on a plate of hot food. Instead if you want to sit relax and have a nice conversation in a beautiful calming backdrop. . . GO Here. . .you won't be disappointed.

Curbside Too

I went for Brunch on Sunday. Got there around 10:30am and in a few minutes the inside was packed. When we left there were a lot of people sitting on the outside tables. I guess they get a lot of business from the near buy hotels in the area. Good service and they are fast.

I had the Huevos Rancheros and my boyfriend had an omelet w/ Brie spinach omelet. Both were really good. I left feeling very satisfied but not grossly stuffed. The food isn't oily at all.

Highly recommended. I don't know what would nudge the 5th star. . . maybe if my OJ was freshly squeezed. . . but I would go back.

Just Okay. Good to go if you are with friends. Yes it is pricey. Food is good, but don't go if you have an appetite for food.

I have to admit the Bread pudding eaten warm is yummy. Although we ordered 4 appetizers and it was the second thing to come out.

Drinks are strong.

Pet peeve. When the place is obviously packed but they tell you your wait is 10 minutes, when it's actually longer, but they don't want people to go away.

West Coast Cafe

We ate the Gnnoci in Gorgonzolla sauce and veal marsala. It was good, but oh so bad! I didn't eat the whole Gnnoci plate, not that I was stuffed but because I knew it was like eating fried butter. The food was served really hot, which was nice.

The restaurant was so loud. Even when everyone else left and there were only 2 other tables the walls resonated.

The tiramisu was pretty good. Almost as good as when I make it. However, it needed more liquir or espresso flavor.
